The Triumph Museum and Herald buying

www.triumphmuseum.org

We haven't mentioned The Triumph Museum recently so you might be forgiven for thinking that nothing much is happening on that front. You may recall we extended the building (or refurbished the annex) last year ready to accept cars from the reserve collection as they are restored. That didn't quite go to plan as some of the building work wasn't quite up to standard, rogue traders have been informed! It's been left to us to sort these problems out as and when we get time. To be honest I'd rather put it right myself this time having had my fill of professionals!
The car collection is still increasing but at the same time some have been sold on as the opportunity arises to move on less important/significant vehicles and replace them with pukka prototype/race/rally Triumph's.
Because of the above mentioned building problems it is currently proving difficult to display all the vehicles on site so don't be disappointed if the car that grabs your interest isn't about when you visit. Just a reminder you don't have to be a customer of ours, or affiliated to any particular club to visit, just come along.

Due to a post holidays rush of customers work in the workshops I have been unable to crack on with the daughters 'pimped' Herald. Only trouble with that is she went and passed her driving test first time out yesterday, well done Ash! The ideal fallback vehicle our 13/60 estate moved on before Christmas, so I had to go out and buy the first Herald I could find at 7 o'clock last night. We ended up with a 13/60 saloon bought locally for not a lot of money, and what a car, absolutely stunning! I think she likes it because straight after getting it home she disappeared along with her mate, and the wife, and didn't get back until after I had gone to bed. Seventeen years old, passed her test yesterday, and already owns two Triumphs, that's my girl!
