Is your car Tax free?
Cars built (not registered) before 1st Januauary 1973 are classed as Historic Vehicles by the DVLA and as such do not have to pay road tax.
To find out if you are elligible for free tax, compare your car's chassis number to those shown below. If it's earlier than the one shown, you are elligible for free tax, if it's later then pay up!
